Property Taxes

Property Taxes are often a very large portion of a borrower’s total payment to the lender. Many of our clients are challenged by a lack of equity resulting from their homes value dropping significantly. At Short Refi Services, we will attempt to get your property taxes reduced should you utilize our services.

However, should you wish to, you may be able to lower your property taxes by petitioning your local tax authority without using our services. Lowering your property tax bill can also lead to a significantly lower monthly payment to your lender (if you have taxes included in your mortgage payment.) There are a number of different tax authorities, so we are unable to include them all here. However, you will find some useful links that may help you get your property tax bill reduced.
